A Research Journey Through the Netherlands: CSR Fieldwork in Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Rotterdam, 19-20 April 2007

While pursuing my graduate business degree at Maastricht School of Management (MsM), I wrote a thesis on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Specifically, the research explored how CSR strategies, when combined with the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) approach, could drive corporate growth and profitability.

With the support of my research professor, I secured interviews with four prominent Anglo-Dutch companies for qualitative research. In April 2007, I conducted three on-site interviews and one phone interview with key figures in Ethics, Corporate Affairs, and Sustainable Development.

On April 19th and 20th, I visited Heineken in Amsterdam, Rabobank in Utrecht, and Unilever in Rotterdam. I completed the fourth interview over the phone with the Issue Manager at Shell.

Below are a few photos I captured during my visits to these cities.
