This pilgrim is t-i-r-e-d. I walked 33.4 km (20.7 miles) today from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with a stop in Vilacerio for breakfast and then at Mazaricos for lunch. The hot sun was overwhelmingly debilitating and my feet and legs are sore from walking the long distance and undulating terrains. The unpleasant smells of cow manure and fertilizer were also pervasive on today's trail.
There is a plan to finish my Camino tomorrow at Fisterra by walking the final 35 km all in one day (versus splitting it into two, with an overnight stop in Cee). Word is that the weather will stay sunny for another day in Fisterra before rain (which is very common in this Galician coast) makes its appearance this weekend. So, I hope to catch the sunset in Fisterra tomorrow on a clear day. It is fin to my Camino tomorrow, if all goes well. Time to rest... ta luego.
